Well a fat iguana is always a nice sight (as long as it's real fat and not MBD of course). Sleestack is more slim than fat as well. Some iguanas are more lean. As long as the tail base remains fat and she doesn't have parasites... and she has a healthy appetite, she is probably fine. Just feed her as much as she'll take and make sure her temps and UV is all in order.

:Hi Everyone!

:There has been some talk going on here lately about iguana weight, and now I think my Myka is too thin!! She does have one wrinkle along her side. She is eating well, I think...But since this is my first iguana, I'm not sure if it is enough though. It seems to be the right amount for her. She eats a good portion of her meal during the day, as well as whatever I hand feed her later in the day.

:Should I be worried about weight? Or should I relax, seeing as she is eating as much as she wants? She was a little thinner when she first came to me almost two months ago though, and has gained some weight.

:Thanks! Wendy :)
