Here's pics of Vega$, on our lovely bedspread (aka blue tarp), showing what happens to big green lizards in our home. During her breeding season, she'd get vivid copper and orange hues. Also, when she's fired up about something, those hues are prominent as well. However, it doesn't matter what time of the year, she *will* beat up the stuffy tuatara. The stuffy is actually a useful tool, when I want to coax her from under the bed. She bobs (you'll hear a "thunk thunk*) and dash right out.
