I agree the hip leash is the only way to go. I have tried the store bought ones and was highly displeased with them. (Actually I thought they sucked!)It was a major fight to get them off and on and I really didn't like the the fact that they went around the throat. With the hip leash if the ig gets frantic (noooo they never do that do they!) you've got control of them but by the hips not the throat.
