Perhaps the owner of the shop or the salesman are giving salads to the water dragon!!Water dragons dont eat salads but crickets and mealworms!!Water dragons are brownish when they are babies but not emaciated!!They also need a large bowl of water because they like to swim.They make wonderful pets, very tame and docile.I had one last year but I gave him back to the petshop because the crickets grew up, invaded my house and bit my daughter.If you give good food to crickets they grow a lot and can become quite aggressive!!Nasty beasts!!

:... I just wish that I knew some advice for them on how to take care of a water dragon. That poor little thing. :-( It was all brown and emaciated looking.
