Do Iguana's taste like chicken?

Have any of you ever eaten Iguana? About a week ago I walked into a nearby (S. Cali) hardware store to buy some vinyl hardware cloth, I explained to the saleswoman that I needed to change these screened "windows" on my iguanas enclosure to something less abrasive/and wider diameter (Feo's ripped out 7 of his nail casings by "hanging ten" from these windows!) anyway...when I mentioned Iguana the saleslady perked up and wanted to know how big he was ..I told her 5ft stl ..how much did he weigh..I told her 9 1/2 pounds...she asked me if I was raising him to eat? I was taken aback...she told me in Central America(where she was from) ..iguanas are frequently caught for human consumption. I told that was very interesting and ran like a bat out of h*** out of the store and I hadn't been back since. I haven't forgotten about what she said..and Ive always tried to eat a "variety of foods" myself...lmao.. Im just curious if anyone out there has tried it.
