As soon as I arrive in Brazil Ill raise a pair of tegus!!I suppose Brazil has tegus too!!Which one is the easiest to tame???

:most fun lizards to keep!! Tegus like humidity, high temps, lots of ground space, and lots of food!!! They tame quite nicely with proper handling. The smallest would be the Blue Tegus, awesome creatures!! Males get about 3+ feet in length. The larger Argentine Black and Whites and the Red Tegus get about 4+ feet and can weigh up to 15 pounds or so. One thing people don't like about Tegus is the possibility that they will hibernate for 4-6 months every year. I enjoy keeping Tegus. They are extremely active, curious lizards.
