:ey everyone, I am brand new to the forum here (I will post a pic of my Zoi later on for you to see her)!! I am so excited to finally be able to talk to you guys (I have been checking out the forum for a long time, but just now am I registering)!!

::I had a question that has been on my mind about Zoi (she is a female iguana, 2 1/2 years old) and my bathroom mirror. I read all through the database about iguanas and mirrors but none of the postings really mentioned anything about the psychological effects of them on mild tempered females. I know that a male will get agressive and a female might also, but this doesn't happen at all to Zoi. She loves to stare at herself and bob her head all over the place!!! Anyways, I guess my concern is, I have no intention of breeding her, so when she sees this "other iguana" is this sort of teasing her in a way?? Man this sounds kind of dumb, but I don't want her to get depressed, but do you think that this could happen and have a long term effect on her mental health? And if she is always seeing her reflection and bobbing her head in excitement, will not getting to actually to be around a real iguana during her breeding season upset her? Should I stop letting her see her reflection, or just keep these encounters minimal?? She didn't have a happy life before she came to me, so I want to make sure that she is as happy as she can be!! Thank you so much for your help!!
