Just going to disagree with what I consider the reason for the clawing. From my iguanas behavior with a mirror, I believe that the clawing is not to attack the mystery iguana in the mirror, but rather trying to climb through the mirror into the ajacent room that they see in it. Igs really do not use their claws for defensive purposes. That is what tails and teeth are for. If an ig was trying to attack their reflection, it would be with tail wips and lunches imho and not scratching.
