:Well I have got to say that im VERY happy with my powersun UV light I must say its actually MY second when my first went out after about 4 months I called the company had a response on the phone in under a minute (a miracle for ANY company ive talked to) was told box it send it to us we dont care if it arrives in several pieces just so it gets here and WE will send you a new one. I had the one out to them the day it arrived there they had one express shipped to me and I got it in two days. Ive seen WONDERFUL results with my rescue ig and the powersun Next year ill be buying a new one.
Unfortunatly some people have nothing better to do than slam companies (I rarely post here anymore due to some of the recent things going on and on).
Hello everyone, My name is Colin and I am with Zoo Med Laboratories Inc. I would like everyone who has been reading some of the recent posts about mercury vapor lamps to read this message, please. We care very much about the health of our customers and their pets.
:There have been things posted here recently that are flat out lies about our company. There has never been any sort of settlement or admission of fault or guilt EVER resulting from the use of any of our lamps including the PowerSun UV mercury vapor lamp. Everything in related posts is completely untrue! I have in front of me the Material Safety Data Sheets for these lamps which clearly state that they are safe and do not pose a problem even when broken. The most recent allegations, that we would somehow try to intimidate a government agency are obviously completely ridiculous.
:I encourage anyone here who has questions to call me toll free at Zoo Med 1-888-496-6633. I would be happy to talk to you and answer questions regarding this or any other issue. Please feel free to call me and bypass this kind of runaround.
:I would be happy to post some more facts about the lamps soon, but needed to get this out right away. I don't know why someone would go to such lengths to cause a panic among people who are simply trting to do the best for their reptiles, but we won't tolerate it and I wanted to set the record straight.
