Actually, my vet told me that these lights should be replaced every 6 months or so. This is because although the light may still be working, the UVB that it is outputting becomes weaker and weaker. You only get the full output for about the first 6 months of use.
:The previous post states the "magic 6 month mark" for replacing bulbs. I don't feel that there are really good resources to find out this info. Any dealer, or store owner will tell you to replace every 15 minetes if they think they can get you to.
:Any one have 'reliable' data/info on when to replace?
