Iguanas dont vomit!!its not normal for igs to vomit!!At least mine never did that!!!But when I was a child I raised a baby crow that fell from his nest and he vomited because the food (meat)I gave to him was not very fresh.Sometimes the vegetables kept in the freezer are not very fresh but we dont notice it because its cold and dont smell bad.
Corn becomes rotten very easily.

:Hello,
: I have posted a couple of times here but always am reading the forum.
:I do not own a iguana but I love them and hope to get one when I am more stable.
:I have a couple of friends that have iguanas and I help take care of them.
:Today I went to my friends house and the iguana had vomited!! :((
:His color had changed, he was a lot darker. It did not look like human vomit at all,
:the food did not look even half-digested, but it sure smelled like vomit.
:Part of his diet yesterday was a mixture of organic frozen veggies that were thawed. The bag
:consisted of peas, green beans and corn. There has not been any change in his temps, handling, time was fed etc.
:The only thing I can think of was his reaction to corn since it was the first time that he has had corn.
:He has thrown up once before but it was years ago when he was fed too late in the day.
:Aside from his coloring he is acting the same but a little mellow. He was not fed today because of the vomit and just has water.
:His coloring looks a little better than it did this morning. There are a couple of patches on him that have lightened up.
:I do not know what action my friend is going to take but my friend does not seem that worried. I am hoping that it just had a bad reaction to the corn.
:Not too much I can do but would appreciate some advice that I could relay back to owner.
