Sounds like you are doing great. I love to take Zok to the local flea market and other places. I usually spend a lot of time talking to different people but I love it. I have to admit that I love the OMG It's REAL! reaction. As if I had nothing better to do than walk around with a rubber lizard on my shoulder! Just be very careful and if someone is obviously scared of the Ig give them their space. We have enough enemies in the general population so always try to be a good example of a responsible owner (which it sounds like you are doing). A couple of things to watch out for that I have run across. People, especially children, tend to walk up to us and first thing stick their fingers in his face at the same time they are asking if he bites! Dumb move! Also when he is on my shoulder that long hanging tail seems to just beg people to reach out and take hold of it so watch your back! I think its geat to take a larger ig out in public so people can see just exactly what those cute little green lizards grow into.
