Man thats awesome. Rescuing an iguana is always much better than buying one (especially one from a pet store). I had an iguana once when i was 8, not a godo experience, 10 years later, my dad found an iguana in his back yard of his central florida home, and he gave it to me, ive had him for a lil bit more than a year, hes a lot like yours was, 30 inches, two toes were short and crooked, his tail was/is regenerated, but he wasnt beautiful, far from it lol, he was sick, but hes a lot better now, so good luck with the taming of yours, mine was a wild lil thing too, post some pics.
