I'd recommend that you go with a single sheet of lino if at all possible and caulk the seams at the walls well.
That sounds like a good idea, I didn't know what would be a good possiblity, so I just said tiles off the top of my head, lino we can do.
:I'm sure that if you made it known to the rescue that you were interested in the iguana something could be worked out to hold the animal until such time as the enclosure is ready.
We will be filling out an application tomorrow and if we are approved we will have her hold the ig until we are all set up. The problem is, she has one other application for that particular girl already, I'm sure ours will be better though :)
:Incidently, what has this "rescue woman" told you about general husbandry i.e. diet, heat, UV, humidity, etc. ?
She explained to us all their dietary needs and uv/heat needs as well. We have also been scouring the internet and absorbing all we can about iguanas. We went to the bookstore and they didn't have the book you recommended but we did look at iguanas for dummies, and they're ordering us the other book.
I have on more question. Are females nicer then males? I've heard that males get testy and that females are more docile, which we'd prefer. Thanks so much! You were a big help!!!
