:1. I use the active uvheat bulbs. Ive never had a mechanical problem with them, although the site uvheat.com i did have trouble with them it took like 2 months to get my bulb, so i would go with another place, i know beanfar.com sells them.
:2. I use a light fixture that I bought with the bulb from uvheat.com
:3. Yes its got the UL label and ventilation holes.
:4. I had one before and used it for a few months, then i put it in storage because I wasnt using anymore, and when after many months i took it out but it wasnt working, you cant move them around a lot the site said, but this bulb was inactive for a long time before it broke.
:5. I used reptisun 5.o by zoomed.
:6. In my iguana i noticed a huge imporvem,net in alertness, color, and appetite.
:You should definately get one of these bulbs. They are well worth it.
