:Hi all.
:My 5 foot 8 years old male went to the vet last week. He dropped to about 50% of his weight in oly 1.5 weeks. It seemed that a infection in his mouth lead to so much pain that he stopped eating. Fortunately the mixture I now use for force feeding (the only way to get the food in) get's him back on weighed again (slowly, but surely) and the antibiotics are doing their job aswell.
:But during the investigation a full blown blood research was done aswell, and basically everything was okay, except his blood calcium levels, the were a bit to low (not that much, but to low none the less).
:Now I was wondering if this might be something I do wrong or if the 1.5 weeks of not eating had anything to do with it?
