Now that you have improved your husbandry probably your ig will not die!!But dont give him lettuce, only collards, etc...

:We got the lettuces- they were wierd kinds, but my dad wrote down all that you suggested. He has eaten a little, but most of his attention has been to sit under the lamps. Collecting the poop grossed me out, but my dad said he will. We made an appointment with the vet for this weekend- I think Saturday.
:Thank you all for your information- at first I thought you were yelling at me, but now I know you were encouraging me to do the right thing. Someone said that you were trying to scare me so if he should die :( that I wouldn't go get another. I don't think I will becuase I now realize that they are very difficult animals. I am going to try my best to get him back healthy- I think I can with my dads help! But, if he doesn't get healthy, I will not be getting another, so no one has to worry. Goldfish for me from now on!
