Sometimes you might come across a large female but the bigger the iguana is, the more $$$$ you'll have to pay for food and a bigger enclosure. And their claws will rip your hands up in just a few minutes. My iguanas arent even close to being full grown and i've had so many scratches the past 2 yrs i have small scars on my hand :(
