I never saw such a beautiful spider!!In my house in Brazil there are lots of big spiders, even tarantulas but I never saw one so beautiful as that one!!That spider is from which region, continent?

:Flavia, thank you for the comments. My daughter just recently became interested in spiders but she's building an impressive collection. You have to research the type of spider you keep..some are terrestrial and burrowers, some are arboreal...some are docile and some can be quite aggressive. For the most part the spiders eat crickets and other insects but a few of the larger ones will take rat pups. Here are a few more of her spiders.

:And this is Lucy. She is a Flame Leg and she hates me!! Whenever I come near her viv she starts tapping on the glass with her front legs. She doesn't do this with anyone else, just me. I have to admit she's gorgeous tho and I enjoy watching her.
