I believe you had a story about Kermit up on your NIAD website. I thought you might like to know how he is doing. After healing from the iguana attack and then a broken leg, he is just as charming as ever. He's gone through his first breeding season and tried to breed everything here on 4 legs, including my Rhino iguana female and the cat! LOL In his attempt to breed one of my other Cyclura females he sustained a pretty nasty bite to his side. He was sutured and healed perfectly. Kermit has always been an accident waiting to happen and most of the time it seems that he's asking for it! I'm not sure if it's because he's been treated for so much trauma or it's just his nature, but Kermit is the most even tempered, sweet, affectionate lizard I've ever encountered. He's one amazing, truly special iguana. He's now just shy of 4 feet and weighs about 4 pounds. This photo shows him in shed but to me, he's always beautiful.
