There seems to be an awful lot of confusion out there
I hope this will clear some of it up

In 1994 I started The Alterna Page
In 1997 I started kingsnake.com
In 1999 I started PetHobbyist.com (along w/all our other pet communities)
In 2002 a group of users and volunteers from a web community
called The Pet Care Forum at VIN came to me and told me they were
losing their home.

We took them in along with their volunteer hosts (moderators)
who now watch over our forums, provideing the same moderation we
always had, in real time, instead of through users contacting
the abuse coordinator.

Same people own run and operate kingsnake.com as we always have,
we just have a lot more help doing it. Same rules as before,
just more people to watch that they are being followed.
BTW most of our hosts have been long time kingsnake.com users,
they just didn't have roles on the site until now.

And yes we will be looking for more volunteers shortly

As to what happend to the posts that were deleted, here is THAT
story.

A user, who will go un-named, came into this forum on multiple
occasions posting an advertisement for an iguana. The posts
were removed and he was told it was against the rules multiple times
by the hosts and by other users. He came back, he posted again,
he literally dared us to ban him. The situation was reviewed, he was banned
and the whole thread attached to his post was removed. Thats it.
No big deal here.
