Hi this is the first time i've posted on the iguana forum...I've had my iguana for about 5 years now and he is HUGE. I currently have him in a custom built cage that is 5'hx2'wx2'd and "Pogo" is starting to get a little too big for it....i've been looking around for a larger cage and have been checking out the 260 gal reptarium by Apogee. It's slightly bigger than the cage I have him in now and was wanting to possibly connect it to the cage he's already in.(kinda like adding on a screened porch for him :p)
Does anyone use this type of cage and know if they are suitable for housing large iguanas(he's bout 4&1/2 feet long and growing!!)
His claws are kinda sharp and was wondering if the mesh tears easily??
You certainly cant beat the price of the reptariums (only 100$ for a 260 gal!!!), thats another reason why i'm a little sceptical, that price seems a little to good to be true....are they durable?? I'd really appreciate any info given to me or if anyone knows of another company that makes a better suited cage, possibly larger than the reptarium, i'd appreciate that info also, thanks...jen
