I lurked and watched and waited for a very long time in the ig world before I decided to rescue my beloved little Amazon. Having worked as a surgical tech, I've had lots of experience handling sedated or sick igs, but not too much experience with the strong and healthy.
One of the igs I was eyeballing as my potential rescue is still listed at CoRR and now my thoughts keep turning back to sweet stunted little Whopper. I love the irony of that name as well as that terrific face. However, I am very far from Colorado and have decided that shipping is not a good option. But, oh, how I wish I could meet him.
