:There is NOTHING trivial about potty training success! Cleaning the fingerpainted baked on poo of a cage gets old real fast! And the smell..ugh! Potty training an ig starts Day 1 within my house! :) Congrats on this triumph and with your good checkup!
Unfortunately, he 'regressed' twice today. The vet suggested the bathtub routine. Maybe a plastic sweater box with some warm water, to get him used to going in water might work. (sigh) Wish me luck.

::Well, took little what's-his-name to the vet for his first check up yesterday. I'd never met the dr. before, but she was recommeneded by the clinic that treats my dog & cat. She was really nice and really, really into herps!
::The check-up went great. 'Baby' is a whopping 47 grams and has nice, bright coloration. He's alert and responsive. AND (here's the best part) he USED HIS POTTY THIS MORNING!! That must sound awfully trivial to some of you, but I was getting tired of cleaning it up off the substrate. I had to change the whole thing last night.
