Apparently you were caught in the e-mail name game, too. I always knew your e-mail name was Jiffypop, but here you were always Jif. At any rate, I knew it was you.
You're right to take pause with your new boy. This should be a signal to all that if someone with your experience is cautious around a large, agressive ig, it's just reinforcement that these are not pets, but wild animals that CAN be a serious danger in certain circumstances.
