Sure! After all, their food doesn't come blended up in the wild! It is much more fun for them to eat various textures I think! Just tear/cut it up small so he has no problems swallowing and digesting it. Sleestack loves to have me hold a huge foot long collard green for him to tear apart bite by bite. He obviously only gets these if I am hand feeding him.
