: This is a photo of the newest family member. We
adopted him because he became too aggressive due
to breeding season for his former owner to
tolerate. He is a total sweetheart compared to
most males I've seen in breeding season.
: Believe it or not, he is less than two years
old! Unfortunately, his huge size at this age is
due to the fact that he was fed cat food for his
whole life! Hopefully no permanent internal
damage was done. Externally he has no symptoms
that one would expect from the high protein diet.
: It's ig salad for him from now on!
: I'm even considering breeding him with my five
year old female but I haven't decided as of yet.
Do you think that anyone would be interested in
captive bred iguanas rather than farm bred?

He is quite beautiful,my Cirsis would love to meet him.Just today, she was nodding a pixs I have deco podged on one wall in the lizard room.Me thinks she doesn't have a headache.I think captive breed igs would be great and far better on igs then those farm bred lizards.Good luck and plenty o red hibiscus to your new fella frm Cirsis
