Congratulations to you and Amazon! How's his tail doing as far as regeneration? Lizard's never fell off (fortunately), so I have no idea how long it would take to regrow. I'm glad to hear he's doing so well and that you've finally earned some real trust! :-)

:This morning, when giving Amazon his customary morning tubber, he SWAM!!!! Considering that 2 1/2 months ago we were afraid his tail might be permanently paralyzed due to spinal cord compression, this is huge. He tucked his little legs alongside his body, wriggled his hips and ruddered his tail just like any normal, healthy iglet. It looked like full range of motion to me.
:Then to top it off, he ate out of my hand for the very first time today. Ever since I got him, I could offer him treats, and if I put them down in front of him he would eat, but was afraid to actually take the food out of my hand. Today he ate some green bean, a little escarole, and some cantaloupe off the tips of my fingers.
:What a day!
