Botox is an injectable form of botulism which has been weakened to the point that it will probably not cause generalized all-over-the-body illness, just poison the nerve endings in the affected area to reduce unwanted motions like crossed eyes, muscle spasms, or the ability for "deep wrinkles" to form when you move your face.
Most research facilities buy their botulism spores direct from laboratories that culture and refine them, but it is very expensive. Smaller research facilities refine botulism spores from honey, one of the more common places in nature that they are found.
I don't know if igs' immune systems are good at fighting botulism, and I'm not about to find out the hard way if they aren't. I'm kind of a nervous humommy that way.
