I am always looking for new things to add to JJ's list of edibles, even if only as a treat. I want to be sure before I try them, though... I have an amish market nearby, and they have a great selection of greens. They sell radishes with the leaves still attached. Can I feed those to JJ? (The leaves, that is.) Also, I have a rose of sharon and a hardy hibiscus in my yard. The hardy hibiscus looks like a regular one, but can survive an Ohio winter, and the blooms are up to 12" (!) across. I know that the rose of sharon is closely related to hibiscus, and I assume the hardy hibiscus is too... Can I feed leaves and/or blossoms from these plants as a treat? I have not used pesticides or fertilizer.
Thanks.
