:In Brazil there are iguanas everywhere, in the rain forests, in the semi arid areas, in the very dry areas BUT in the colder areas!!When iguanas are cold they dont eat!!

::In my opinion the main killer of igs is COLD!!When I bought my igs a few years ago I didnt know ANYTHING about iguanas and the salesman on the petshop (im talking about Thorn and Shena, not about Godzilla!!) didnt know one single word of English and as I didnt know one single word of Indonesian the communication between us was impossible!!.I didnt even know that the name of those small green cute things I was buying was " iguana " and that one day they will be as big as GODZILLA!!Until this year I thought Godzilla and my other igs belonged to 2 different species of lizards!!
::So I raised poor baby Thorn and poor baby Shena in a dark kitchen, without windows or any daylight, in a bird cage, eating only collards, carrots, bananas and Kangkong, no UVB lighting, anything and I did that for 9 months and they thrive!!!How could them survive??Because the kitchen was warm, no airconditioning, so although they were in the dark they used to eat a lot.Now both of them are 2 years and a half, around 3,3 Feet(1 meter), very healthy and happy!!No MDB!!But since then I improved my husbandry!!
