In Indonesia they chase the green iguanas to eat.In Malaysia (My VET told me that there are not green iguanas in Malaysia, only monitors what is pretty strange because Indonesia and Malaysia are neighboors and in Indonesia (Borneo) there are lots of wild green iguanas!)they chase and eat Monitors!!But they dont sell them as food in the markets...Only big sea turtles!!What is also a cruelty!!

:I have tried green iguana when we where in Belize . I it is ok but I would rather have a steak .. Almost every open market in the area has them for sale as food . They " hog tie " them and sell them live .
