I am from Minnesota, I would do what you said, but I'm not quite sure what a radiometer is(I assume it is to measure the UV rays put out by the bulb) or how to get one. Sorry!!

:Where are you in the world? Anywhere in New England ? I'd love to slide a radiometer under a bulb if you are....
