:I found my 5 igs and 1 SKINK in perfect health, a little bit bigger and fatter!!T-REX is 19 months and he is already 1,22 cm!!(4 F?)But a little bit wilder also!!Shena my 2 years old female scratched my arms badly because I forgot to wear my gloves!!BTW thats true, there are lots of green iguanas all over Brazil(my country) except in the colder southern states. But there are also green iguanas in Asia, mainly in the Indonesian islands.Godzilla, my 5 years old male is from there.I bought him 3 years ago in Jakarta(capital of Indonesia)because I was living there!

:Welcome back from vacation. Godzilla may be particially PO'd at you. My igs tend to eat less when I return from a vacation. And the most I have heard of a male going thru his season in a year is 3. Normal is 1. For a female I have heard of an iguana that dropped eggs every 3 months. Normal for them is 1 as well

:::I dont know why...Perhaps its because of the weather. Its cloudy and not very hot...He is not finishing his food bowl...but his " season" has aleready ended...How many breeding seasons a male iguana has per year??How long it lasts??

::: I dont know welp, Tarzan has me a little bit worried.
::::His appetite has dropped drastically. Maybe its just because of the stress of two (yes, two.. we had another one yesterday for 12 hours, stupid storms >=\) power outtages. Maybe his breeding season is beginning to really kick in? When he sleeps and his darker basking colors fade, he looks very orange. Last year, his breeding season seemed to begin around late august. Around October or September (i can't think of it at the moment) he began to drop seminal plugs. But that's just about it. He would act pretty normal and wasn't aggressive. Maybe his second time around the change will be more drastic?
::::When feeding him this morning I noticed that his food bowl was practically full. I got some greens and held them in front of him and he kinda licked them and seemed unsure of whether he wanted to eat or not. When he finally did it, he did it in a very "dainty" fashion. He just kind of nibbled at it. Usually he's a voracious eater.

::::*sigh* they sure like to lay the stress on us extra thick! =\
::::I'll post any other changes as they come around.
