:::I've always wanted a parrot... We've had parakeets. My sister had some respiratory troubles (asthamtic type) when she was young and we had a parakeet named Sammy. When Sammy passed away, her breathing cleared up miraculously. We assume that she had an alergy to birds and so can't have anymore. =(
:::Some day when I have my school done and life deep-rooted, I'll get a parakeet again =) I don't know if i'd be able to handle the life-long (if not beyond my own life) commitment of a parrot, so we'll see when the opportunity arises =)
