I think it is gross but it is a cultural difference. People have pets that other people might eat in other countries. I am sure that if I wrote a letter to a T.V. station and
told them that I found it extremely offensive that they were eating cow on T.V. they would just laugh.
In some countries eating iguana would be considered a norm like in America it is to eat chicken and beef.
I think that if your friends are going to write about iguanas being used for food they should write a letter for all animals.
