If you do have a good calcium rich diet, not much supplementation is needed....as Flavia mentioned! I do have some Rep-cal calcium and some Rep-cal vitamins (Herptivite I think). I use the vitamins 1-2x per week and use the calcium once in awhile. You can use it 1-2x per week if you want and it won't be a problem. You can also used crushed up cherry tums for calcium (taste great and full of calcium). It is a good idea to have some calcium on hand, but don't go crazy with it. If your ig didn't have a proper diet in the past, you may want to use more calicum in the beginning until you are sure his levels are good. You can get a blood test to determine his calcium levels. If they are low, you know he is not utilizing enough calcium (meaning he needs more calcium, more UV, or he has other problems). I recommend getting a blood test every couple years at minimum.
