Hi there, I haven't posted in a while, but I'm looking to place another iguana in a new home.
She was a rescue from some pretty icky conditions, and she's a bit small for her age.
We assume she's about 6 years old from what the previous owner told us, and she's about 3 and a half feet long.
Voracious eater, regular pooper, and pretty darned healthy.
The one thing that makes her a bit of a special needs ig is that she hasn't responded to socialization very well. She has NEVER bitten, but she'll hiss and puff up if she's feeling offended. She'll scratch if she's picked up and doesn't want to be (which is most of the time), but that's about the extent of it.
We've had her in our home since about February. and we feel she's ready to find a place in a special ig parent's heart.
We are located in Portland, OR, and obviously a local placement would be preferred, but I am willing to ship her if the perfect home is found.
