Need help with green iguana.

I recently rescued an iguana from a bad situation. It was given to me as the owners didn't want it. It is a 3ft female that was kept in a 3x2x2 aquarium and was treated poorly. It is very stressed and very aggressive and will only eat lettice. What steps can I take to help it out? I have started building a new cage for it, I just would like to some advice on what else I can do. Thanks.
