Yeah....I wish we could keep up on the claw trimming, but it's such a chore! He absolutely goes NUTS, so I just handle him with the gloves, even though I still get scratches up & down my arms because the gloves aren't long enough....it's not that he's mean, just so big he can be hard to handle, but he is a good boy. :)
And you use gloves!!I use gloves too, but mine are not thick!!
