Lizard lets strangers pet him and rub him. We've never let a stranger pick him up, and it's pretty rare for a new person to *want* to pick him up. After all, he's a large, spiky lizard! I don't know how he would react to it if someone did try, but I doubt he'd do too much about it. He's really tame too. :-) But if I let him roam around outside like that, I don't know if I'd ever find him again...

: :The iguanas are kept outdoors, in a large area covered with grass. They spend the whole day basking on the sun. They dont show any fear of the tourists and visitors, they are very calm and tame and accept being peted, rubed and holded by anybody without runing away or trying to escape!!First I thought they were sick but after holding them I think they are VERY trustful and tame.I asked the lady who takes care of them what was the secret to tame iguanas and she said she NEVER scold them, hit them or shout at them.Only pet them and rub and talk with a sweet voice to them EVERY DAY!!Some of the green iguanas are from Central and South America.Other are from Indonesia (Kalimantan). The Indonesian are more brownish like my Godzilla.
