Louie loves big pieces of collared, mustard, & turnip greens...he especially loves to just chew on a big leaf while I'm holding the stem...he will keep chewing, sometimes until the entire leaf is gone, all in one bite! I don't ever feed him stems though (choking hazard as we all agree) and I watch him eat, so it's easy to tell what will go down and what won't in large pieces (i.e., strawberries, squash, etc are alway cut fine for him)...he's never had a problem with choking or anything..but thanks for the concern. :)

I have to agree. I think Christy said Double D has choked before so she cuts hers up small (and I would too in this case) but I have never had problems with my reptiles feeding them larger leaves. I do take out the stems, but Sleestack seems to like large pieces. Sometimes I cut them up in thin pieces and sometimes I leave them bigger.
