is that "full spectrum" doesn't necessarily mean "UVB producing" - And as far as CRI Indices are concerned, if you're taking pictures then be concerned, if you're trying to keep a healthy iguana I wouldn't sweat it... Take a good look at the mercury vapor lamps as they are, in my personal opinion, currently the best AND most economical UV source available to the public. The "upfront" cost may be a bit of a shock but over the course of a year they are actually cheaper than fluo tubes in price, have a longer throw of UV (meaning that unlike fluo tubes, you don't necessarily need to get the animal within 12" of the bulb)there is more available UV to be had with these bulbs, and the "by product" of heat that can be focused in the form of a basking spot makes them arguably the only bulb that you need. Granted, ambient heat is still an issue especially when the lights go off at night but that can easily be solved with radient heat panels or, if need be, ceramic heat emitters.
