:Hello-
:It was VERY hot here and I wanted to make Roxy finally eat something, even though she refuses to touch the ground where her bowl is located.
:So my roomates and I cut up some greens for her and I basically "threw" them onto her basking shelf. I know this sounds terrible. But I cannot enter her cage because it ends up causing her to go into a "fit" and throw herself around, and I am afriad she will break her back or something similar.
:She ate the greens! Well some. So we are in the procsess of ripping the small area of hardware cloth (plastic coated) off her cage, which is located right about her basking shelf. I am just ripping the corner up so her lights will still be on it, but enough that I can "sneak" her bowl of food or a pile of food at least onto her basking shelf. This way I don't have to bother her and enter the cage.
:I know most of you will say its stupid that I have to act like this around her, and basically she is boss but I'd rather have to "sneak" food in at night on her shelf then have her not eat at all!
:So anyways thats a small update. Hopefully this will end soon.
