:Why? I had problems with her rubbing her nose when she was much, much younger while in one of those reptariums=waste of money, but don't see much danger in the wire I have on her cage now.
:Safety for her from things outside is another reason I choose metal wire instead of another type of enclosing material.
:I needed something that would also stand up to the weather, my kids plastic toys don't last long out in our harsh desert sun so I figured it'd be the same for any plastic mesh.
:She has been going out there for a few weeks now and she has had no problems.
