Instead of a deep bowl, you could cross-flush a shallow pan which (possible slanted), and have an old toilet tank and the internal works outside the cage. Sorry, I also work on old cars, so this is my engineer's hat thinking... So many times I have to adapt something to an alternative purpose. You could also soft plumb it to any hose spiggot, so you don't have to tap a water main or anything... it could flush into a compost area in the yard... yeah... Any thoughts?
I have been potty training my cuban in a cat box with oderless littler,but she is still small for now.
