:This morning, Kahlua went off to a new home. She is going to live in a household with two other iguanas; one girl and one boy. The lady who adopted her rescues animals and has recently become invloved with reptiles. She has researched iguanas. She and a friend are planning on building a bit of a "jungle house" type of thing. A very large room will be furnished in a jungle setting. The three of them will probably be living together in this, and it sounds like they should get along fine. Its roomy and spacious enough for there to be no cramped spaces or territorial issues. She promised visitation and pictures =)
:*sighs* the parting was bittersweet, but for the best. We got over the urge to keep her and got real... she needed a nice loving home! We didn't have the room for another adult iguana.
:I'll post here with updates on her new living conditions and new home ASAP.
