Of course iZ didn't like it when you wouldn't let him go over the drain. Imagine that every time you went to do your business, some giant picked you up and made you go on the floor instead of the toilet! You'd probably be pretty pissed off, too. First time we ever put Lizard in the tub (with no water in it), he chose to go over the drain.
In other news, Lizard was incredibly calm in his shower today, so I put the plug in the drain to see how he'd do with a little more water... He was fine! He just sat there calmly in about 2" of water. Amazing. Yesterday he was clinging to me with just a little bit of drizzle on him from the shower, and today he doesn't mind a bath. I don't get it, but it's progress. :-)

PS: Lizard especially appreciates the head rubbbies. His head and face are shedding right now. :-)
:oh, iZ didn't start out in much water ~ more like the bottom of the tub was slightly *damp*! but it was a *totally* new thing for him and he *still* hung on to my arm for dear life! we worked up to actually having a couple inches of water in the tub over months + months! :)
:by the time he decided that floating and/or swimming might be a fun thing, he was too big!
:that's just too *kewl* about Lizard lining up with the tub drain! iZ used to do that + i don't think i've ever heard of another ig that did that ~ til now ... *grins*
:(when he got sick, i became obsessed with being able to analyze his poop/urates and wouldn't let him poop directly down the drain ... he was SO mad at me for that!!)
:keep up the good work! *headrubbies* for Lizard!!!
:Bon.
