LOL. I would of liked to be there rubbing it in after you said I told you so.
I have built cages inside rooms before. I knew ahead of time. One day I will scan photos of the enclosures I used to have.

:One big suggestion I am going to make is the same one I made to my fiance and lemme tell ya, I never had as much fun saying I told you so as i did when he was in the street taking the thing apart. Many homes and apartments have different size doors. One thing I strongly suggest to ANYONE making an enclosure is that they use screws instead of nails when building. Screws can be removed with minimal problems, nails on the other hand can not. Other than that follow what Mr. D. said. He has great info in that message.

::Ok, I'm going to start constucting my own habitats for my herps. Here are some common questions and I was wondering what the answers are:
::1. when building a wood frame enclosure...what about wood stains (ie...cherry wood stain, walnut stain color) and sealants? Toxic? Ok? Certain types to use???
::2. Plexi glas or wire? Wire holds in less heat so I would assume plexi would be better at holding in heat and making the top wire for holding lights and ventilation?
::3. type of wood to use, not to use?
::4. in building ponds or streams...what filters work best in filtering out iguana poopoo? protein filters?
