If she isn't used to being handled, she's likely struggling because she's nervous or afraid. In the wild, the only time an ig gets picked up is probably by a bird who's planning on eating the ig (as a baby, mainly)! Or maybe Myka just doesn't feel secure, and is afraid you'll drop her. Anyway, I've never known scolding to be effective in stopping behavior caused by fear. Make sure you are holding her securely, and try to make comforting noises.

:Hi Everyone!
:Myka isn't very used to bein handled, as in picked up and carried around, so sometimes she still struggles. I have been scolding her verbally for it, but now I'm starting to think that maybe that isn't helping any? Is it possible that she is looking to cause a little upset? Should I just take no notice of her struggling and keep on talking to her like I was before? Thanks for your help! Wendy :)
